The Purcellville Cannons are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization recognized by the IRS.
While we are heavily dependent on volunteer efforts, the Cannons still need to raise at least $75,000.00 by January for a successful season. Some of our largest expenses are approximately $15,000 to play at and make Fireman’s Field our home, $15,000 for uniforms, practice gear & hats, $12,000 for umpires, and $5,000 for baseballs. Additional expenses include league fees, equipment, travel, team meals, and operations.
We sell concessions, merchandise, & tickets, but the majority of our revenue is from the kindness of the community.
