Doug Walker

Doug Walker is baseball through and through. He has worked for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Bank of America Corporation in Reston, Virginia as a Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor since 1988. Doug is a Graduate of University of Maryland,1981. He currently resides in Leesburg, Virginia with his wife Jodi and two children, Sean (18) and Courtney (16). Doug has served on the Board of Directors of the River Creek Country Club in Leesburg Virginia since 2007 and is currently Board Chairman; served as Reston Little League Board Member from 2002 – 2005;served on the Board of Directors of Greater Loudoun Babe Ruth in Purcellville, Virginia from 2008 – 2010. In 2009 he served as Babe Ruth South East Regional Tournament Director at Fireman’s Field, as weill as 2010 14U Babe Ruth World Series Committee Board Member responsible for all operations associated with the tournament including press box, merchandising, arranging host families and transportation for over 100 players at Fireman’s Field. Doug has been a manager and coach of over 24 Babe Ruth and Little League Teams, including winning the 14-U Virginia State Babe Ruth Championship 2009 and 15-U Virginia State Runner-up 2010. Doug is currently the Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Middleburg Academy, Middleburg Virginia and has been in that role since 2011. He was an Assistant Coach with the Luray Wrangler and Charles Town Cannons prior to his Inaugural year with the Purcellville Cannons, Valley Baseball League team. He is also member of the Cannons Board of Directors.
